Too Darn Hot

When I got into work just after 7, I found both the windows in our office were open. Another colleague had opened all of them in an attempt to cool the place down. It didn't work.

7:30 and it was 28°C. And as you can see, it didn't get any cooler. Try concentrating on anything in that kind of heat.

I drank three liters of water and ate half a melon and I was still thirsty.

Oh and in one of those ha-ha-ha-why-did-you-think-that? moments came the cruel news that last week's announcement of air-conditioning for our floor was actually false.

It's for the floor below us.

There were no tears. I swear it was sweating from the eyes.
