Feeling brighter

Raoul has got his colour back. After his recent skin shed, my pet corn snake is clearly feeling a lot brighter. He enjoyed a lovely roam today, snaking in and out of the banister-backed pine kitchen chairs, as well as in and out of a wicker basket that his snake care kit is usually kept in.

He is in lively mood, keen to explore and constantly flicking his forked tongue to 'scent' new experiences. He's only a few days away from his next fortnightly meal. Happy days for a snake!
