Postman!

After almost a week without any post, our hardy postman made it through to the village this morning! Admittedly he only brought me a letter from the Open University about my deferred maths exam, but I was jolly excited!

The neighbours were equally excited and rushed out to greet him, giving me time to get the camera and take an outdoor picture with a pleasing splash of colour in it!

After leaving our house he skidded and failed to get up the hill that leads up to the top of the village. However, undeterred, he went back down to the bottom and set off again, this time with a run up, and finally made it up the hill!

Hurrah - civilization is returning!
