Happy chappies

Their new activity table arrived today along with the you Dyson for their birthday (it's so cute).
We have slept through for four nights in a row a new record don't know if we will make it 5 in a row.

I've had a pretty crap few days and have a feeling Saturdays fun day is going to be a disaster :-(
I'm actually very annoyed with one friend. She had promised to help by text yesterday to say she could no longer make it as she HAS to go to London with her hubby when he prices a job for another friends father. She doesn't have to go at all it's just an excuse to have a night out in London with our other friends. What annoys me most is the little lies and the fact that they both go running the minute these other friends (they are our friends too) ask for anything yet Mr S can't even come and finish work in our house he started over 3 years ago that we have already paid for! Mrs S can't spare a few hours to help at the fun day. They were in financial dire straights a few years ago and we did a lot to help them (found carpentry work for him, offered the services of my mum who is a financial advisor amongst other things) but we come along way down the pecking order as far as they are concerned.
Well enough is enough I will no longer be sticking my neck out for them they can get on with it themselves!

On a happier note me and Mr L have been together for 8 years today!!
