Modestine lives

There we were gardening away when a donkey appeared walking down the path between our house and the neighbours. Ever since Robert Louis Stevenson wrote his book Travels with a Donkey there has been a fair business in this part of the world in "donkey holidays" and there is now a Robert Louis Stevenson trail that you can follow.
Today however the couple above own the aforepictured donkey and off they go in the Summer walking around the remoter reaches of the Ardeche. Today it was our valley's turn.
A nice way to travel around.
