At last ..

.. it has rained. Not something I ever remember asking or hoping for when we are in the Western Isles. Here though there has been none since our return form Greece almost a fortnight ago and the springs are visibly becoming less strong.
Of course it didn't rain until after I had spent an hour and a half watering the garden - still it needed it as it was getting very sticky with a temperature of about 37 C. Tomorrow a job saved!
