And Stop.

A quarter past nine here and given that I got the bus at 6:30 this morning, I think I've done enough for today.

I apologise for almost repeating the Blip from yesterday but really, I haven't stopped. Ok I could have blipped the Schnitzel that I had for lunch but I don't take my camera to lunch with me.

A queue* in Germany is called "eine Schlange" which is also the word for a snake. I knew someone who had a little prepositional problem here and ended up in one of those almost Bugs Bunny conversations. She wanted to say there was a queue for the toilets (es gab eine Schlange vor der Toilette) but actually said that there was a snake in the toilet (es gab eine Schlange in der Toilette).

She was a little surprised at the reaction when her friends asked what kind of snake it was.

Work was hard going but fun.

German lesson afterwards cranked the difficulty level up a notch and we're reading a weird Sci-Fi story - a bit like Silent Running but not really. Anyway, it's all about expanding vocabularly and learning other ways of saying things. Very exciting.

* Sorry to report, but Germans are rubbish at queuing.
