Carpet of petals

This was my view as I came up our lane after work today - the locust tree blossoms made a carpet on the lane.

It rained on and off all day again. Our grass is getting quite high because it's over a week now since it was mowed. Looks like it will have to wait until at least Saturday. This weather is tough on the kitties too - they stand at the door and can't decide if they should venture out or stay indoors.
