An adjustment...........

We dropped the bar fridge to my Dad today......the first time we had seen him since he was transferred to the nursing home from the hospital. We took him out for lunch and then back to his room....it will be an adjustment for everyone.

Daughter is settling and overcoming the jet lag but it is a little rocky for the time being....in between school and uni.... friendship groups scattered to the corners of the globe...driving in what amounts to a foreign country as a new driver......finding her place back in the family group after 5 months of semi-independence......it will be an adjustment for sure.

The plan for tonight was to see the sunset and a short time later the full moon rise......sadly the moon rose behind a lovely thick bank of cloud. Still the humpbacks were breaching on the way up the coast- a wonderful sight. The cloudy soft sunset was beautiful as the waves pounded the rocky shelf. Daughter had some spiritual nature time and "breathed deeply" letting go of the anxieties of the day.......and adjusted a little bit more........


........maybe a full moon was just a little bit more than what we really needed today.
