Sir Rooph Fiennes

Beautiful Whitley Court one of my favourite places to visit in all it's sad splendour.

A fine stately home in its day, until a fire ripped through the heart of it and the cost to repair was too much, it then became the property of English Hertiage.

It has one of the biggest working fountains in the country that goes on the hour for twenty minutes, it draws a big crowd.

I always imagine Keira Knightly standing on these steps perhaps waiting for Sir Roo....
