La Defense Day trip

La Defense is the highest density most contemporary part of Paris. The district had many different modern skyscrapers mixed use for all kinds of retail and commercial businesses. The area is most definitely the business district in Paris. The Grande Arche is the most iconic focal point of the community. The arche goes on axis 5 miles away from with the Arche de Triumph and 8 miles away from the Louvre museum. The landmark is massive and able to be seen from a long ways away. La Defense was an extremely clean city and pushing environmental sustainable through habitat and energy. The social and economic sustainability sides are doing extremely well. The area is very impressive and is continuing to expand northeast to accommodate more buildings. I highly recommend visiting the area if you visit Paris.
