Across the water

I had an enjoyable early morning run at the beach this morning. The full length of Erceg's Way, turning at Whisper Cove to head back. The sun rose at almost its most northerly (only a week until the solstice).

This photo was taken after the sun had fully risen (and was fairly dazzling), so I cropped it to almost totally exclude the sky, as the interest is the sun coursing across the water from the entry to Sandspit (up the Matakana River) to where I was standing. Lovely seen large

Swept most of the branches and leaves off the decks. Looked at the places on the cliff face where some erosion occurred. And noted the large amounts of seaweed piled up on Snells Beach, and the extra sand on our beach. All the legacy of Tuesday's storm.
