One of those days...

... I'm likely to remember for a while. Multiply the feelings I had while watching Spain get defeated by Switzerland last world cup by 100. That's how ridiculous the 5-1 loss against Holland was today... The only ray of hope left is the game against Chile.

Probably the most uneventful beginning of the day ever though. But stuff got done. Summer plans are potentially coming together. The provisional plan is getting out of hand, but looks something like this:
Leam --> Portugal --> London --> Paris --> London --> Leam --> London --> Brussels --> Istanbul --> Brussels --> Romania --> Brussels --> (something) --> London --> Sardegna --> Corsega --> London.

That’s likely to change considerably, hopefully getting shorter but not any less cool. Big hopes are that I can go diving, windsurfing, water skiing and hopefully finally learn how to kitesurf! Unfortunately, it might be the first year I give catamarans a rest. But the goal is still to be able to buy one some day!!

Everyone’s gone this weekend except for Anu and Emma, so it’s gonna be a quite one, but hopefully all the plans can come together. In the meantime though, the three of us went out for dinner at La Coppola with Anand, as it’s his last day around. The photo is of our boy enjoying his wine there. Talk about fine dining, what a beautiful calzone. That glass of grappa at the end may have been the most effective predrinks though, for...

...SKOOL DAYZ. One last time.

Who wants to predrinks in halls when you can go to the piazza enjoy the warm weather and watch the football though? Unfortunately, the hundreds of people on the piazza seemed to be rooting for Holland more than anything, but hey. The match delivered in terms of performance, that's for sure. And I don't mind if Netherlands win the world cup in the end #motherland, as their starting performance implies they are well up for. Still, Casillas, you ****ed us all royally!

Finished predranks at Sam's flat with Lia, Gav, Sam and all the girls. Good to see everyone after so long. Skool Dayz ended up being dull music-wise, but more than made up for by the quantity of bros around. Why does the end have to be when everyone is having the best time?

peace
