Friday the 13th wasn't so bad

Well, Friday the 13th happened and I've gotta say that a lot of bad things happened, but luckily not to me, just the people around me.

I had my first of many going away parties. It was with the climbers from the gym in Sasebo. One of them has been talking about it since I revealed I was leaving back in January. He was excited to plan it and decided two months before I leave wasn't too early. Everyone else thought it was funny and think we should have part two later.

They also surprised me with a small climbing hold on a string to make a necklace and they all signed it. They also brought out a surprise early birthday cake! Such nice guys!!!
