Oban

We drove up to Port Appin this morning but the weather didn't brighten as we had hoped. Dull with some rain but we did have a wander down to the pier to see the little passenger ferry which goes across to the North end of Lismore (we went across on a previous holiday). Short drive up to the Castle Stalker tearoom for lunch.

Back to Oban for a walk along by the pier where the Cal Mac ferries berth with the weather improving. Amongst the fishing boats tied up at the pier we saw boats from as far away as ... Arbroath.

We went back to our holiday home earlier than other days and sat outside in the sunshine and enjoyed the view down Loch Feochan.
