St. Francis in the garden

Dear Diary,

Visited my cousins home and photographed this sculpture in their garden. St. Francis is favorite of mine. His love of animals touches many people's hearts. Those of us who are pet parents know the special place they have in our lives and feel a connection to this gentle man.

I'm not sure why I am drawn to photographing sculptures wherever I go. I guess it is better to just photograph what you are drawn to and not dwell too much on it. There is a reason, I'm sure, even if we can't see it at the time.
