On Velvet Hill

Today I went on a walk with my walking group. We went to Llangollen and did a walk along the canal and up to Vale Crucis Abbey. There's a cafe there where we had a much appreciated drink and scone. The walk continues flat then downhill to the car park but someone suggested a detour over Velvet Hill. Only three of us out of twenty five walkers went over the hill - it's a steep climb up and dodgy underfoot going down but beautiful views from the top.
