Magpie Moth Caterpillar

This afternoon I did some gardening. I have a shrub that had grown into a monster so was cutting it back when I found this caterpillar. I'd never seen one like this before and it took some time to find out that it was the caterpillar of the magpie moth. I've seen the moth in the past and it has the same colours.

The caterpillar is an enemy of currants apparently but as I don't have any in the garden it's welcome to stay!
