Ding Ding to the World Cup

I bet you didn’t realise the Edinburgh’s trams would go that far did you? Well maybe not to Brazil but certainly to the pub. Was meeting my pals in a new pub at Haymarket so I jumped on a tram as it would drop me off across the road from the bar. With the kick off only 7 minutes away I was just at the bottom of the Mound and still got into my seat with a beer (OK the pint was bought for me) for 8pm. We all got a tram back across town to watch the England/Italy game and again it was quick, clean and quiet. They seem to work for me, just a pity they don’t go down Leith Walk, yet!
