Sergeant Howie Where Are You?

We’re down in Galloway again and after doing the coastal walk around Rascally we were heading for CD (as the local’s call Castle Douglas) by the scenic route and we found our selves a bit lost some where near Dundrennan and with seeing this large chap on the horizon we were lost no longer.

The Wickerman festival is coming again soon (25-26 July) with D’izzee Rascal, del Amitri, Martha Reeves and Shed Seven headlining. Hope they get the weather, in fact they had better get the weather as I’m pretty sure we’re back down there again that week.

The Wickerman is obviously a reference to the 1973 cult horror movie of the same name which was filmed in this vicinity.
