Overdue

Rainy season usually starts in early June but it hasn't really rained yet. My first year here it rained from June 2nd-June 28th with not a glimmer of sunshine and then continued for another week after a one day respite. The past couple of years, and it seems like this year too, rainy season is longer, lasting well into July, but the rain is broken up with a few days of sunshine. I'm not really sure which I prefer. If only it would rain exclusively at night...
