Lily Beetle Larvae

Not the nicest of homes ...

This is a set of lily beetle larvae. I blipped the Lily Beetle back on the 5th May. The clearly had been very productive as our poor lilies have been massacred by these bugs.

That brown sludge around them ... that, I'm afraid is poo! That's how they defend themselves from predators ... they really don't look that tasty do they!

I've been wanting blip them for a number of days, as today was really bright and sunny I waited no longer ...
