Graduation

a collage of a memorable evening. Our son Jake graduated from Wooster Highschool and it was a fine ceremony. Jake held a speech both funny and deep at the beginning of the ceremony, together with his best friend Raymond.
The first two small pics show first the teachers at the moment the ceremony began, and the first of 3 or 4 coupled students, so full of joy, a clear contrast to the facial expression of some of the teachers. The big Lawlor Event Center was nearly completely full to honor the 4oo students. It seemed to me that nearly 85% of the school population was Hispanic, so the Event Center was full of many big Hispanic families and lots of the cutest little girls, their arms heavy with gifts for their loved family member. There were lots of speeches and one was held by the principal who at one moment asked the students to light their candles and turn towards their families. I am very happy that all the faces were so sharp.
After the ceremony we had a hard time finding Jake in the huge crowd and upcoming dawn to congratulate him and take one last picture of Jake and his very proud Dad.
