Marennes meandering

Spent the day around Marennes, wandering around the area called La Cité de l'Huitre. Had a superb meal at a place where they cultivated their oysters in pools behind the restaurant - and then simply wandered some more (passing up the chance to visit the museum of oysters).

Also went to take a closer look at Fort Louvois here, which we'd seen from the viaduct linking the Ile d'Oléron with the mainland.
