In Awe

I took some time out today and visited the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford. Primarily it was to see the latest Cezanne exhibition, which was wonderful but whilst there I couldn't resist going along to the Impressionists gallery.
I never tire of studying the brush work of Pissarro, Boudin, Sisley and Whistler. The only negative aspect of this is that it makes me never want to pick up a paint brush again.

I did a lovely circular walk this evening, taking in Minster Lovell Hall, the meadows beside the river and Crawley. I had to physically lift Fionne over an enormous stile but apart from that, it was beautiful.
