Double Doodle Delight

I had one of those delightful phone calls yesterday to tell me that my large quilt Double Doodle had won the Machine Appliqué award at The National Quilt Championships held at Sandown, starting today and going on till Sunday. Of course I couldn't blip the quilt itself but I remembered I had some some spare blocks left over so this is a detailed picture of one of them.
