Six

After last night's drama and sleep over, I was heading up Pen-y-ghent at 6 minutes to 6 this morning in rather overcast conditions but enjoying the air, space and curlews calling.

This was the brightest moment of the walk as the rays beamed down on the sheep - very different to Monday night's light at close to the same spot.

That's early starts now on all of the Yorkshire Three Peaks. Rich and I decided on our Pen-y-ghent evening walk the other day that we'd both quite like to do moonlit ascents so maybe that'll be next.

Another four people looked like they were setting off on the big circuit and will probably still have a few hours left of walking to go. I will more than likely be picking up Rich at 6 minutes to 6 tonight when their official time runs out to complete it.

Update: 16 minutes to 6 :-D
