A Peach of a Day ...

Design and Craft Fair today at West Dean with my dear friend Dee. Everything beautifully presented and highly creative, but too expensive for our pocket. Scarves at £99 for instance. It gave us a chance to enjoy the sunshine in a beautiful setting, and as our ticket included entrance to the lovely West Dean gardens, we made the most of that. The walled garden is a riot of colour and scent. But the scent of the day had to be one of the hot houses where peaches grow in profusion. Oh, if heaven has a scent, it has to be the scent of fresh growing peaches ….
