Still serving a purpose

I have often wanted to photograph this ruined jetty and conditions including my thinking seemed right today.

Two problems - the tall posts were even higher and I have chopped them down somewhat; secondly the two mallards - I shouted, then threw stones but they would not fly away. In the end they stay as part of the composition and have given me a title. Little colour of note so I opted for black and white.
