Water babies

Today has been such good fun!

I didn't sleep very well; awake at 4.10am, then kind of on/off until I gave up and got up at 7.30am.

I had a coffee on the verandah & fed the ducks, before making everyone else coffee.

We took our breakfast items to the other lodge so we could all eat together, but they had beaten us to it!!

After breakfast we had a round of crazy golf; saved a baby duckling that had got his head trapped in some wire mesh and then had a good few hours messing about in boats.

Mr A & I took the row boat out for a spin; I had a go at rowing its much easier on the rowing machine than in real life but Mr A got a soaking so that didn't last long.

We returned our ship to shore; got changed and ventured out on kayaks. Neither of us had been on a kayak before but it was a great experience. We spent the best part of 2 hours on the lake, it was such good fun.

The weather was a bit cooler after our late lunch, so we chilled on the sofas and chatted.

Tonight we are having another BBQ (except me obviously) and beers before we have to go home tomorrow.
