The Bros

Today was a good one with the new crew. That’s Rowan, Ali and myself. Around September we all start working in the big city. We’re set to be pretty much the coolest household in London though, expect the party invitations to roll out. That is, if we manage to find a suitable house first! The three of us headed down to London for the day. The plan: neighborhood hunting, as opposed to actual apartment hunting. Nonetheless, we got convinced to go see a house by the first estate agent we talked to! This greek character with an outstanding sales attitude we met on Holloway Road. In fact, the flat we visited was sick and ALMOST perfect, but we decided against it, thinking it would be the most irrational possible thing to do to go for the first apartment viewed. It WAS pretty damn good though.

But yeah anyway, we managed to narrow down the area in which we want to live (that’s the general Holloway Road – Caledonian Road vicinity) and we’ll be doing some more thorough hunting in the future. The day was cool though, at a pub near Farringdon we met up with Rowan’s friend Sam, who took us to a brilliant restaurant where students can get £3 legit pizzas and £3 pints. Great stuff. At some point later, we all split directions and I headed back to the London house. No wifi meant I was unable to do much planning for tomorrow’s trip though…

… PORTO HERE I COME!
