The One Loaf

This beautiful collage of words and images, celebrating the making and mystery of bread, is currently on display in the lobby of our Meeting House. It was made by Joy Mead, who is a member of the Iona Community and an attender at our Meeting. I met Joy for the first time at a retreat weekend for our Meeting last summer. We got to talking about bread and the spiritual implications of making and sharing it, and it's largely thanks to that conversation that breadmaking is now an essential part of my life.
