The future is bright - in the orange family!

I came up to the house again today without a Blip - it's difficult when I'm working in the garden to have the camera handy. Fortunately this shrub was not far away and I brought a piece up with me to photograph.

Acradenia frankliniae is a small to medium sized evergreen shrub from western Tasmania which is quite hardy here, though not necessarily everywhere, I think. It's in the family Rutaceae, as are the citrus fruits, and has aromatic foliage.

Not particularly flamboyant, but very attractive close up. Mine is growing well on the slope below my house.
