Garden

We spent a fair amount of time in the garden today, relaxing, not working, though I think Ann cut the grass.

I was experimenting with camera settings on my Fuji as I’d picked up a back copy of Practical Photography at the shop on Monday. Reading magazines, which I do infrequently, always fills me with enthusiasm to do better and try advanced techniques, this phase doesn’t last and only makes me realise I need a very expensive camera, very expensive software and a tripod, to attempt some of their topics (well that’s my excuse, though I do enjoy reading photo magazines).

So here’s what I consider a pretty nice (or nice pretty) picture of a fuchsia, not using any of the techniques I’d read about.
