A closer look

This morning was surprisingly warm, just like summer. The gusty nor’wester was lovely. A good day for staying at home and getting outside work done, but I had an appointment in Christchurch. I thought it might be cooler in Christchurch, but it wasn’t much. I could have done without the woollen top.

These odd temperatures are confusing the trees. I saw cherry trees in blossom, and a number of deciduous trees showing new green leaves. Since we are still in the first month of winter this false spring could be damaging.
