How can a creature so beautiful………

………… be so damn scary!

My blip was literally sitting on my doorstep this morning, fortunately for me (unfortunately for him) he had gone to meet his maker which meant I was able to pick him up, set him on some white paper and photograph him from all angles!
I did have a play with the super macro on my finepix 'bridge' camera but without extra lighting couldn't get close enough without shadow so it was back to zooming in with my trusty iPhone.

I don't mind bugs or creepy crawlies or even daddy long legs but there's something about a moth blundering about at night that I really don't like!!
