Homegrown lilies

After weeks of the red beetle watch here's the result :-)
To be honest , these lilies were leftovers from a pot from last year, I was keeping the earth with bulbs and rhizomes on a side patch of the garden thinking I'd need to throw it out with the garden rubbish, but they just took off growing from this March. Now look at them, a glorious bunch of pale yellow lilies (and so far I haven't managed to kill them)

Thanks very much for your comments and stars for yesterday's Thai dumplings, the goodies I had taken home were utterly yummy too, we had a feast eating it all last night.
