Lily Stamens

This is another lily we are growing in the garden. Out of all the shots I took, this was the best, considering it was handheld and there was a slight breeze.

You may laugh, but it was my intention to get a shot of a hover fly near by flying in the sunshine and staying in one place for several seconds.
I managed to focus on it then suddenly it moved, must have seen me so it would not pose for me. Scrapped that idea and came up with some more colour instead.
I must try harder next time!! Flies are not easy to capture!!
