Suespiria

By Suespiria

Now the world has gone to bed....

Now the world has gone to bed,
Darkness won't engulf my head,
For I can see by infrared,
How I hate the night.

Now I lay me down to sleep,
Try to count electric sheep,
Sweet dream wishes you can keep,
How I hate the night.

With thanks to Marvin, who - you will observe - obeyed the three rules of poetry.
(1) Make it funny
(2) Make it rhyme
(3) Keep it short

Anyway. Some lovely, lovely leaves, after dark, lit by the fires, glowing deep in the eyes of the dragon that I was riding.
