"Moscatel"

Málaga has long been famous for its sweet wines, made from the Moscatel grape. The Romans and the Moors were all enthusiastic drinkers of wines of Málaga.
Because the vines are grown on steep slopes in the mountains it is a very labour intensive crop and the grapes, harvested usually late August, are transported to the winery by mule.
So far this year the crop is looking to be very good. Cheers!
