Wanderings & Witterings

Out walking with the local group of the Ramblers on Wednesday and came across this wonderful piece of graffiti (or maybe, in this case, public art) on a plot of waste-ground. Thought it amusing enough to share!

The walk itself was a most enjoyable one: a 6km ramble through open countryside along the River Almond - see last week's entry - and over Craigie Hill to a lovely restaurant & deli where we had lunch. Then a further 6km along a disused railway line back to our start-point in Kirkliston. The sun shone, we had a good turnout, lunch was excellent: a good day all round, I'd say!
