Freezing Friday

School sports today and it was freezing. We all had our warm coats on, but were getting colder and colder! At least they got through the sports before the rain came. BB had sports highs and lows. He did well in his races, but was very annoyed when someone else was given his place in the relay (he had already been chosen as fastest p3 in his house earlier this week)and then his house came last overall and he was very upset.

Fencing and swimming were given up for a party this afternoon – a football party for the birthday of one of his nursery friends. Unfortunately a traffic nightmare meant we were twenty minutes late (1 hr 20mins to get there then 30mins home!). He had fun and it was good to see his friend M again.

Rock 'n' Roll lifestyle continues as I tackle the ironing mountain tonight. Maybe a glass of wine will help me cope!
