Barns Ness

A quiet morning, and a sunny morning.  TT had to take the car back into the garage to get a new horn and we wandered down to our local farmers market.  I bought a geranium.  Lots of other interesting stalls, but nothing I needed to buy.  We went to a local nursery for lunch.  We sat outside in the sun and watched a robin family. TT and I rounded off our lunch with delicious cakes.  Last time we were there, they had run out of cakes.  We then just caught the Vulcan bomber as it flew past the nearby Museum of Flight.  We heard it before we saw it.

As the weather had turned all summery, we headed down the coast to Barns Ness and had a walk. BB and TT went fossil hunting, while I just wandered along the rocks and beach enjoying the sunshine. Our local Council is about to start charging at all the local coastal car parks, so we are making the most of them while they are still free!

We came home and had a barbeque for tea.  I hope summer is still here tomorrow.  Here's the lighthouse.
