Full Steam Ahead

I haven't moved from my desk today, apart from a very quick dash to the framers to ensure that the mount will be cut in time for the framing on Tuesday.

On the way home, I had to overtake a steam engine. The smell was heavenly and brought back memories of Fred Dibnah, so I pulled into a lay-by and waited for it to overtake me. I then jumped out of the car and captured it on my mobile, with a split second to spare before another car came into the frame. I'd love to travel on one of these engines, although I think I'd feel guilty at the lengthy traffic hold ups I'd be causing. I suppose you switch off to it eventually.

The painting is coming along fairly well but I miss being outside. Thank goodness nature is taking care of the plant watering for me. There's always a positive in everything.
