Welsh Fayre.

We decided to take a drive to Maesteg today, as we haven't been there for ages. This cafe was in the old market. How times have changed though. It used to be buzzing with stalls outside and in ,but today it was so quiet. The magic has gone, and it's probably gone to Asda, which is just down the road. It's so sad to see these old markets on their last legs. I doubt it will still be there in ten years time. Maesteg town used to have really lovely individual shops which are long gone. Although it's only about eight miles from Bridgend, it feels very different.
My granddaughter went to an open day at Swansea University today and then is going to one in Cardiff Uni next week. She will have to apply, after she gets her results in August. Tonight, we are having a Mexican meal. I can't wait!
