365 #179 - Nature provides

I can never quite decide what I like to photograph most. I'm sure it's people, but for opportunistic shots I think this is the thing that gets me every time.
Along the river today the overcast sky and canopy of trees provided some gorgeous diffused light and the texture of this fallen tree has long been a favourite of mine.
Today the light was filtering through perfectly and while there was only time for a hand held shot, it's one of those things that makes me happy inside.
There's no set up, no placement, no instructions to be given. Just a tree and some light. Sigh.
