Golf Decisions

With 5 days to go until the golf day and it pouring down outside there's only one thing for it - the tough decision on whom goes in what team. I love the golf day. There is a morning and an afternoon round so two sets of teams. This, generally, doesn't take too long as the guys that attend have no issues whatsoever with whom they are put with - the only time it does go array is when there are late call offs which does happen and this throws all the numbers & therefore the groups out. At this point I usually cry, someone then tells me to grow up and I get on and fix it. For consecutive years we shall be playing, amongst other games, the 'yellow ball lose it and swim' team pursuit. This is where each player in a team takes it in turn to play a hole with a yellow golf ball. The objective is simply not to lose it and if you do lose it... not to spend 5 hrs looking for it. The pressure that is felt when you stand on that tee with water or trees around you is incredible - more than standing up in Parliament giving a speech I say. Anyway - its supposed to be 24 degrees on Friday so looking good - off to find some yellow balls...
