A Thistle Pound

Its time for a new challenge, and DDW has set a Props Challenge where one takes a prop and incorporates it into each of a week's worth of blips. This week's challenge prop is a "Dollar Bill", but as I live in the UK, I'm using a Pound Coin.

Looking at a selection in my purse I see that the "tails" side has different designs across the years, and one in particular is a Thistle representing Scotland (issued 1984 & 1989). Now I have a number of thistle-like plants in my garden and seeing one damaged stem, I picked it and set it up in a thistle shaped bud vase. I then played with the wide angle lens for my shot.
