Cornflower Blue

What a hot day – such a pity I was at work. BB on the other hand was on his (whole) school trip to a nearby farm park. I sent him to school covered in suntan lotion. He brought his school report home tonight. It was very good – though disappointingly bland in places.

It was still really hot when I got home and I didn’t feel like cooking as I had been out for a lovely lunch for a colleague who is leaving soon.

I went out for a walk later in the evening when the football was on. It is the last week of my step challenge and I am determined to have a good step count this week.

Here’s a cornflower that has grown in our front garden. Not sure where it came from.
