Another Day, Another Lily

It was lovely and sunny with blue skies as I hung my washing out at 7am. By the time we were ready to leave for work it had clouded over. The wind got up this afternoon and there were a few spots of rain – but it has stayed dry.

BB had his friend Ms E home after school. We went to the library and they both signed up for the Summer Reading Challenge – Mythical Mazes. BB has read the two books he took out already – they were not very challenging though.

Ms E brought her loom and they were loom banding – she was teaching him what to do. He desperately wants a loom. They made me a very colourful band.

The Tiger wasn’t playing football tonight, so he came home and made a lovely tea. What a treat.

Here’s another lily from the garden - the flowers are small and very lovely. Can’t remember its name though.
